Emily's Photoshop Motion
Describe:
In this picture, Emily used a tennis ball and a tennis court to create the image. Her image uses many different elements and principles. One element would be color.
Analyze:
The main principles in this image are emphasis and color. She used the still tennis ball to create an edited motion picture.
Interpret:
In this picture I think the artist intended the pictures mood to be happiness and calmness. I think she wanted people to feel nice and calm when they see the picture.
Evaluate:
I think this a successful photo because she really captures mood. She also incorporated many different elements and principles. If I could change one thing I would have added in the rule of thirds.

Braydon's Stop Action
Describe:
In this picture Braydon used his friend as the main subject and the background to be trees and grass. He used form and emphasis.
Analyze:
I would say the dominant principle is movement. This principle adds to the action picture by really exaggerating the movement.
Interpret:
The mood of this picture is intense. The person in the picture looks like he is very focused and is going towards a goal. I think the intention of the artist is to show that people should be focused toward their goal.
Evaluation:
I think that this is a successful piece of artwork because he captured the image using multiple elements and principles to give the image a variety of things to make it successful. If I could change one thing it would be to edit the colors in the background and the person to give the kid more emphasis.
Action Book Work
Recall: Camera Motion Blur, Subject Motion Blur, Out-of-Focus Blur and Depth-of Field Blur
Understand: The higher the shutter speed, the sharper the photo. The lower the shutter speed, the more the photo will be blurred.
Analyze: The two best pictures that convey movement is page 207 and page 214. On page 207, the photographer used the explosion to make the picture seen real. The photographer could have worked on a little more blur. On page 214, the photographer used intentional blur to make the picture seem real. I think the photographer could have made the photo look better if they used a little less blur, so that way we could see the basketball players face.
Evaluate: Even though the pictures are frozen you can still tell that the pictures have movement. In the apple picture you can tell that the picture is moving due to the explosion happening. In the water picture you can tell that there is movement due to the droplets moving up.
